UDP doesn't have sliding windows, no acks.

not too sure about 164.

Ans:A,B,F.

the remote and central chaps
E.Modem racking and cabling can be eliminated by integration of digital modem
cards on Cisco IOS Network Access Servers (NAS)
Ans:A,B,C,D.

172.Which two commands allow you to verify address configuration in
your unternetword?(it has to be internetwork!!) (Choose two )
A.ping
B.trace
C.verify
D.test ip
E.echo ip
F.config ip
Ans:A,B

169.Which two 1W encapsulation names are correctly paired with the

B.Ethernet_802.3-SAP
C.Ethernet_802.2-LLC
D.Ethernet_SNAP-SNA
Ans:A,C.

Ans:A,E,F,G...
Does ICMP validate route by using command "Trace" ???? any comments??it seems that we have more than three ans.!!!!

Just a note on question 164, I would go with A, F, G.

The question asks for a matching with the TRANSPORT layer FUNCTION. In fact, given this insight, answer A is a bit suspicious, because it talks about IP which operates at the network layer. This is a yucky question!

The only answer that I feel is truly valid, now, is F. One of TCP's functions is the three way handshake. To say that one of UDP's functions is "no sequence and acknowledgment" is kind of ridiculous. What, we define it by what it's not?? Also to say that a "function" of TCP is "connection oriented" sounds a bit daft. TCP IS connection-oriented, but this isn't a "function" per se.

Since the question asks for THREE protocols, I grudgingly select A, F, G.

Hope this stirs the pot!

Deets

P.S. A typical crappy question, that you'll probably see on the exam!!! Poor devil!

Deets,

I've seen this question before... TCP - Connection oriented, UDP - no sequence/acknowlegdement, and TCP - three-way handshake are the correct answers.

Now that I think about it, Skip is right. it is E,F, and G, because the question asks :
what matches its transport layer protocol....what does everyone think?

I believe you, Skip...I had thought of those three as the correct answer. My concern with this is that it asks for THREE protocols. Selecting E, F, G...you are only selecting two protocols: TCP and UDP.

I'll go back to my original conclusion about this question: crap!
