someone just told me if you fail,the passing grade goes up ? true or false ??? Help!

I have been told that if you fail,,,the passing score goes higher ? I thought,that was only if you were an instructor???? My test is in 6 hours.....any info on this will be appreciated

| I've never heard, that the passing-score will increase, when failing the exam.
I cant believe this.
I wish you all the power, you need for passing - I think 822 should be enough :-)

| That would indeed be false. A score of 822 is needed no matter how many times you fail the exam. | |

| This can't be true. Don't worry about it. Focus on the stuff you need to know, and forget about the things that unnecessarely distract you.

| Thank you edlinger subnet_zero 6packs and all those who will reply. That raise the score penalty thing has me spooked,,,must be the halloween thing,,,,I have confirmation on the score raising if you are certified to teach any of the section on the netacademy website,,but no problems there because if i pass the CCNA then I will certify to teach .

| To become a instructer through Cisco, your score goes up every time you try to pass the instructing exam(I forget what that is called). Someone probably heard something about that or read it and got a little confused. I think they start out having to get a 80 and then if they dont pass its 85 next time and then 90 and finally 95 the last time and every time after that.
Thank goodness that doesnt apply to us, there would many that would be in real bad shape. |
