anyone here, who can help me?

| That's your local loop. It's also known as the "last mile."

| From memory, I think it means "Pretty Old Telephone System."
Can't remember where I saw that...

| Found it on the Cisco Web site. Means "Plain Old Telephone System," so I was close.  | |
