Author OSPF and FDDI questions on CCNA 2.0 Test

2000-10-26, 5:43 pm

I just took one of the many pratice tests and it had one question on FDDI and two questions that the answer was OSPF.
Are ther any question on the real test that require knowledge of either FDDI or OSPF?

FDDI will be there if only with regards to cabling specs, maybe more.
OSPF might be there as an answer for example: Which are distance vector protocols?
and then along with IGRP and RIP it may give you OSPF as a choice (which of course would be wrong). Other than that, OSPF is focused on in the CCNP exams. This has been my experience to date anyway.
