| Based on the choices I would say "credit card authentication", although "blah blah" and "blah blah" may also be correct. | |

| Blah blah 3&4 were
3.File tranfer
and
4.Directory queries
so they are incorect.
Most people including me agree with your answer. However some exams I have bought offer both replies! This is why is confusing.
Could it be that Credit card authentication is a part of Shopping cart services?
I';m gonna go search the web, if anyone comes up with definite answer, pls let me know. Ta!

| I don't think so. I mean to buy something online, you don't really need a shopping cart service, do you? But then again, I have bought items online via cheque as well. | |

| I'd say Virtual shopping cart services | |

| On the practice test I took it had that one and the answer was the credit card. because if you are an e-commerce site you must be able to order off of it and if there is not credit card auth. Then it is just a brochure. Hope this helps dont remember that one on the actual exam took on March 11th and already got the cert in the mail passed with 88%
Good luck when you take it

| Disclaimer: I have no idea about i-net cert in particular, this is just my opinion.
I would have to go with credit card transaction. Commerce in essense mean there is an exchange of goods/services. This is how I work thru the question. You go to the supermarket, what enable you to purchase items? is it the shopping carts that hold your grocery or the cash register that collect cash/run thru the debit card/cashier checking id etc for accepting check/machine that run thru your credit card?
You can have a virtual cart on your web page, and when they proceed to checkout, instead of online transaction, you get to print out the page and snail mail it to the merchant. This is just a convenience like the carts in supermarket that let you collect the goods. However, credit card transaction is the enabler that allow commerce to go through over the net.
However, tests being what it is, there is prolly one sentence in the official book that say *this is it!* and that is the law as far as tests are concern
hmmm... just reread the question, *credit card authentication* ?! so I authenticate that this CC number is valid, but does it mean its actually ran thru? that a transaction occur?... too much thinking... headache...

| Virtual shopping cart is part of the transaction process of E-Commerce. |
