Hello all, I just passed my Net+ exam on Thursday of last week(March 14). My next exam will be I-Net+. I am hopeing to take the exam by April 14. I was wondering what study material is suggested for this exam. I was thinking about going with Sybex Exam Notes. I have read that if you took/passed the Net+ exam, and understand it's concepts, this exam shouldn't be too difficult because some of the material is overlapping. Like the Net+ exam, I have heard that CompTia is reviseing the I-Net+ exam as well. Anyway, I love these forums, they are very helpful. My goals for the remainder of the year are to get my I-Net+, and to start on both my CCNP and MCSE 2000. I would like to write the Routing exam for the CCNP, and write the Microsoft 2000 pro exam at minimum. Anything else that I accomplish this year would be a plus. I have already passed the CCNA (2/11) and Net+(3/14) exams this year. Passing three more (minimum) seems reasonable. Also, I have heard that Comptia is coming out with a Security + cert. If that shows its up this year, I will try my best at that as well. Ok finally, thatnks to all your help in previous forums, and am looking forward to the next three weeks in this one.

I bought the "i-Net+ Exam Prep" book thru half.com ($20.00 + shipping) and, although I have only been thru the first 3 chapters, it seems to cover the subjects well.

Also, the new i-Net+ exam will debut in the middle of April, but the old exam stays available till the end of May. I think all of the study material and books are oriented toward the old exam, so I play to take it in May.

Congradulations on passing your Net+ exam.

As Comptia, MS and all the other companies. They are changing their exams. By adding additional new questions never seen, but primarily pertaining to the topics which you study for.

I guess they are trying to zero in on how fast those braindumping sites are..

Best of luck on your exam

I recently did the i-Net+ exam and used Exam Drill and Sybex Study Guide (the full book, not the notes). According to CertMag, there is a 25% overlap in material from Net+ to I-Net+.

Best of luck to you.
