What is the state of the I-Net+?

| Is it any more popular than it was when it first began? I mean it seems to me, while I may be boxed in from the Industry, that it hasn't really progressed much, any insight would be appreciated.

| Double-sided question so here goes. In terms of popularity, I think its the same old for test-takers. Either they want it because (any combination)...
- relatively easy to obtain
- personal satisfaction
- confirmation of internet knowledge
- can be used to obtain CIW-Associate status
For me, the second and third choice fits my bill since I actually had to teach internet technologies.
The flipside of the question is, it doesn't seem to have gained in standings with companies when it comes to job prospecting. Doesn't seem like there are any companies expressly asking for i-Net+ cert, but the knowledge encompassed by it would come in handy for anyone. I doubt you would be hired on i-Net+ alone. Just my two cents. | |

| Yea what namrak said. iNet+ probably is collateral damage of the so called dot com bust. When companies start thinking about the internet seriously again things may improve. It might even be helped by Microsofts' .NET initative. |
