| I thought that I would do much better than I did, it still seems as though I am nervous when testing and with 165 dollars on the line! I just want to take the time to thank everyone for the encouragement. If anyone that hasn't taken it have any questions feel free to ask away!!

| Congrats!
And thank you so much for offering to help. I test Thursday. And while I think I have a good handle on it, Monday I start the 3-day M$ course 2151 (working on MCP too)! So... I have to absorb my M$ info and stay up on my i-Net+ I can do it though!
I'll start a new thread if I have questions, so I don't take away from your celebration in here Again, good job!

| Well Done!! | |

| Congratulations on the pass!!
What study resources did you use?
Also, what was your score? ... not that it matters, but you said thought you had done better.
Did the study resources you used prepare you well, or were there some questions on the exam that you couldn't do?
Sorry about all the questions, but the feedback would really help.
Thanks a lot. | |

| I scored a 79%. It was 73% to pass. I had 73 questions. I went through it pretty quickly. I used EE, and an online course. The wordings of alot of the questions were very vague, and compared to what I studied was still difficult to know whether or not the answer was correct. I had a troy notes study guide and didn't even look at during study, thinking it was outdated. After reviewing it after the test alot of the questions had the answers I didn't choose for the ones I missed. I can understand why comptia won when sueing Troy Technologies. The stuydguide was verbatim.
Hope this helps.

| Great job! Congrats on your pass.
Sh0tgun, you will enjoy 2151. It is a fun class. I teach it at least once a month. Let me know if I can help!

| You're a good man!
I want to learn enough to be able to help others w/it someday

| You have the right attitude to be successful in this field. Quick bit of advice about 2151: do not treat it as a 3 day class, but more as 3 one day classes in a row. First day: intro to w2k. Second day is what Net Essentials used to be. Third day is TCP/IP including subnetting. If subnetting gets you down, look me up and wwe'll take care of that. You can always download my free guide at www.mcsefreak.com/subnetting.htm to get a heads up. | |

| I chew host bits and spit subnet bits!
I eat network addresses and crap subnet 0!
I... I dunno, I do some weird stuff.
I totally got subnetting down in my CCNA class. I was fortunate. It didn't click during my Net+ studies (not that you needed to know it, but we spent some time on it for "fun" [you know that's what we do for fun]). I still don't think I have mastered supernetting Which sucks -- we just didn't cover it much, but it's not inside the scope of CCNA...
(BTW thanks for the advice on the MOC class.)

| Congrats on the pass! I too took the Inet+ this week and passed!!!! This was my first cert exam ever. I am never nervous about anything, but I was incredibly nervous over this!!!! (could've been the $200 fee!)
Even though I don't say alot in these forums, I read them all. Thanks to all of you for all the input!
On to the next cert......

| Good to hear, lifelearner! Start your own thread to boast I passed mine on Thursday, how about you?
I know that I get a little nervous going into the exam, but once I'm at the keyboard there's nothing more that I can do... so I relax a little.

| MCSEFREAK's subnetting guide on his site is the best. Kudo's O' master of the domain!
Always remember that braindumps are the desert and if you want to grow up to big and strong you need your meat and potatoes.
