is the i-net+ exam pretty close to the CIW foundations exam?

I was thinking of just taking the exam without studying....... depending on the price and whether it would be worth it.

I passed CIW foundations with 98%, so if its similar I think I might just go do it.

any ideas?

Hey, it's your money. CompTIA exams aren't cheap, though. Honestly, you probably could pass it given your other certs, but I would at least use a couple of online exam sims to get a feel for the CompTIA questions.

Easiest way is to get a hold of the ExamCram's i-NET+ book. Flip through it and only pay attention to those areas that need brushing up.

thanx guyz..........

i just wanted to take the exam in the quest to impress employers. I know there may not be any extra info to learn, but in this job market it seems that even the littlest of details may count.

A position that i recently applied for attracted 40 applicants and each of us had to address about 10 pages of selection criteria. Most of those people would probably have the quals for the position since you wouldn't waste that much time if you thought you didn't.

It's great that there's more competition these days as it will bring out the best people, but at the same time you need to be the best if you want to stay in the game.

btw, in Aust. CIW exams are $250ea. If CompTIA exams were more than that, there's no way I would bother!

Thanx for the help guyz
