Got my CIW Assoc. Cert in record time!

| Hi;
Apparently Prosoft is getting better at sending out the cert for CIW Associate once you fax in the test results from the i-Net+ test. I got mine in just 3 weeks. This is a lot better than the 5 to 8 months that I've been hearing about. Only problem is that they didn't spell my name correctly.
Oh well, I've already called them and left a message. Maybe in another 3 weeks I'll get another one from them.

| Yeah ..... a while ago I remember I saw a dude said he got this CIW-a about 8 months later. HaaHaa ..... thats REALLY long time.
I just sent fax mine about 1 week ago, hopefully I will get it the end of this month. By the way, remember when u went to CIW site and on the download form page, it said we have to sign the agreement. So did u just click and fill in the form there on the site or you print it out and fill out then fax it with your application ? | |

Yep, Prosoft have some hard time with their mailroom early this year.  I got my by three months time.
Before they sent you the cert, you have to go to CIW's site and sign the agreement. | |

| Hi Ace123;
If its still taking that long, then I must be just lucky with the delivery time. When I talked to them about the spelling of my name (Mr. Mklpklx - from Superman's 5th dimension - lol), they said that they would send it out that day. For what it's worth, I'd still give them a call to follow up on it.

I don't think they'll give you a ID card for CIW Associate.

| Hi ITman;
The CIW Cert if a pale blue form with their CIW Associate logo top center and in the center of the cert it has your name followed by "is recognized as a CIW Associate"., and on the bottom of the cert it's signed by Jerry M. Baird (Chairman fo the CIW Certification Board. Finally on the right hand bottom of cert it has the date of your i-net+ plus test.
The only other thing that comes with it is a letter of congratulations, and how to access the logos.

Thank you for telling me, now I can imagine
how it look like. U know I do care about a cert look like heehee ....
My friend have a Coldfusion cert, she got it about 1 month ago and it was Dark blue,
and the name they use gold colour fansy font printed. and all the date and I.D number they use shinny silver printed.

| I dropped my letter to Prosoft in the mailbox on 8/3 and received the cert. yeserday 8/17. No complaints here. | |
