| I just wrote i-Net+ a few hours ago and ended up with an 86% (10 questions wrong). I was literally finished the exam in 5-7 minutes and there were 5-10 questions out of 72 that I had not seen before.
It was about what I expected but I am a little disappointed in my performance. For some reason, I find CompTIA certs to be harder than MS or Novell certs. The questions are easy but the answers are sometimes a little vague. Anyway, I'm not going to complain because I learned a lot from studying and writing i-Net+...it's a good cert.
About the exam itself, I found they asked questions in "clumps" with 5-10 questions in a topic asked all at once. For example, my first 5-7 questions all dealt with Security (SSL, SET, Certificates, Signatures, encryption etc.) then I had about 10 questions on Networking, then a bunch on E-mail. Like I said above, most questions are in the practice exams (DS Technical, Transcender, Exam Drill, Bernie's etc.) but it's important to know WHY because you're going to see some new questions and the purpose of certs is to learn anyway.
If anyone needs any help or practice exam URL's or DOC's, let me know. On to CCNA and MCSE2K...enough of the easy stuff

| Congrats on your pass! I'm taking the exam in about 22 hours from now...
I feel that I'm ready, but I'm sure those open-ended questions will get me. Can you drop a few links that you felt were helpful (sample exam questions, etc.)? I've been using Exam Cram and the study guides on examnotes and brainbuzz... are the questions anything like it?

| Oh yes, forgot to ask, did you see any questions on the "internet backbone"... is the answer T3 or ATM ?! Still need to get the COMPTIA answer to this. | |

I can't send you all my practice questions because I printed off a bunch of hard copies and the soft copies are on my other computer 100 miles away. However, I'll send you a few links to some resources and practice exams that I found accurate. I will post a link to a bunch of questions in the next few days to anyone who is interested.
