| Cool,
After 4 month I received my CIW associate certificate. I Thought it would say something about CIW Foundation but it says Ciw Associate.

Congrats!! After you passed the CIW Foundation or you've submitted your i-Net result to Prosoft, you'll get the title of CIW Associate.

| Yes, submitted my I-net+ results to prosoft.
It sounds nice CIW associated. Two certificates for the price of one, makes that expensive fee of Comptia better.

| Does anyone know if they are giving a time frame to their exam credit ? I will be writing next week, I hope they dont decide to change their policy then ?! lol Anyways guys this forum is great for prep and inside stuff on this exam, i want to get this one over cause i`m already in my CCNA kit, that will be a lil tougher

1. Yes, it's a normal size cert like MCSE & i-Net+
2. No, they don't mention you passed the i-Net+ exam or CIW Foundation exam.
3. I don't think anyone have scanned the cert and put it on the web.

| Hi,
I passed the I-net+ way back on January 4th (or was it the sixth?). I had completely forgotten about it but today I found my CIW Associate cert sticking out of my mailbox. Wow, that is nearly 8 months and don't blame it on my location, the mail only takes 5 days from the states to reach me.
Oh well better late than never.

|
| WOW !!!! 8 months ..... ?
Humm.... I think CIW dont care about it cuz we didnt actually took their offical exam and they didnt make a buck out of our pocket.
Beside when mailing the soure report to them and it was free right? CIW didnt ask for some
process fee right ? | |

| No, I didn't spend anything (except time) to get the cert so I am not complaining. In fact it probably cost them a bit to send the relatively nicely made (compared to Comptia's ) cert all the way to Germany.
But it is good PR for them. maybe I will look into being a real CIW (not just an associate) after I get my MS stuff finished.

| Hi Trebor
I would like to ask you Im about to start MCP and on OCT there will be 270 exam start, if I still go for 210 now do u think is not a smart move? Also I would like to ask u MCP will expire ? If I go take the 210 now and sometime next year will be expire huh ?
thank you so much! | |
| trebor 2001-08-02, 7:30 am |
| If you have heard about a 70-270 test then you know more than me. I have done some Microsoft tests now and have enjoyed the study. I don't think that MS is planning on retiring the Win 2K exams any time soon and Win 2K seems to be Microsoft's flagship product at the moment. There are no for Win XP exams I know about.
Here is an idea. Go to WWW.ALPHAEXAMS.COM download the examdrill demo (It will help you anyway with I-NET+, it has 10 free I-Net+ questions) There are free questions for the MS exams too in the download. Then you can see if it is material that interests you.
Best of Luck | |

| Thank you very much for your site trebor!
a few weeks ago I was talking to rg here and he told me he used examcram and he got 90 on his i-Net+. And today I finally finished studying the whole examcram book.Well I can say I understand and remember 90% from the book. But just dont know is it enough. To be honest I have no patient, I really wanna go take the exam either tomorrow or the next day give it a try. Somethings I think I do know somethings on i-Net+ but somethings I feel my mind was empty. I kinda dont wanna waste time studying anymore if what I know now is already enough to pass the exam but maybe thats what I thought. When I go take the exam I might only get 50% ..... when you come to this point. Kinda feel like u are driving 80MPH on the freeway and u thought the desination is in the front but all of a sudden u see a stop sign. Stop the car or keep going ?

| You are welcome for the tip but I can't take credit for the alphaexam.com site.
It sounds like you are taking your studies seriously, Itman. I am sure you will do just fine. I use the exam cram book too and they are very good. (Although I didn't use it for I-Net+)
I hear what you are saying you loud and clear about driving 80 m.p.h. and being unsure of your destination. I have a tough exam ahead of me this morning. Just one difference. There is no speed limit in Germany. I will be going 100 m.p.h. |
