ok this deals with regional servers.

A REGIONAL SERVER IS ONE where if a request is not detiyned for the local server then it will be fowarded to a continetal server which in this case will be the regional server..
exaample is like u a lans in antartica and u send a request for a document, that is destined for that server on the inetrnet. the local lans server will query to seeif it has the contnt being requestedif not and the request is for an international server it will foward the request to the regional server.


AM I CORRECT??.

hey well geee i thought you guys said thats the book u studied from. well all thats infomation is right there in the book.

i hope u guys really did pass the exam usin that study guide beacuse iam completely shock now that randy of all people who have passed the inet exam using this mans book dont know what a regional server is.

a regional srver is one that sends request to international servers if the request is not found on the local server..

I took the test in March of last year. They may have added some additional stuff on the test since then, but I don't recall regional servers being mentioned. Anyway, you must be doing pretty good if you are coming up with questions that we can't answer.
