Hello all,

I'm a new member. This seems to be the best place for certification information. I'm glad I found it.

I have had experience running my own websites for years (including ASP), but no college education so now I want to start the process of certification in the IT fields. My goal is to get a job making $24,000/year this year. It seems that i-net+ will be very easy for me, so this is where I am starting. Then I want to move on to A+ by the 1st of August. Then follow up with e-biz+ and CIW. My ultimate goal is to become an administrator of a major website.

Questions:
* Once I get my i-net+, can I get a CIW certificate for free if I just fill out a form?

* Where can I find a study guide or book designed for the e-biz+? No sites including this one have any forums or info on this certificate?

* Will all the CompTIA tests (i-net+, A+, e-biz+) be in adaptive form after August 31st?

* If I take the A+ and i-net+ test before August 31st, will they be in the original format?

* Will the inet+ test be revised soon and will previous certificates be invalid?

I am going to take the i-net+ test next week, I hope it is what I am expecting.

Thanks in advance,

-Joel

Yes, you'll get the CIW Associate certificate for free after you sent the form to Prosoft.

Thanks,

I can't wait to take the i-net+ test so I can get the CIW too.
