1. Open DataBase Connectivity = attribute
of SQL which allows 4 the management of Relational Databases...the Openess is the
key 2 establishing connectivity 2 the
many differ. types of databases found on
the Inet. SQL does a great job in managing all this stuff.

2.I think Router is the answer. Note once
U go out onto the internet, U R engagng
the router protocals & capabilities. If U stayed within, e.g., a Lan U could
probably get away w/ using a Gateway.

Apologize 4 less than a precise response, but I'm still figuring out this stuff
myself so corrections R welcome.
