| I am new to this forum and would like to know if Comptia is planning to change this exam in the near future? I just missed taking the A+ exam(old format by about a month)and would hate to buy a resource study guide book that would be useless in six months time. Any advice would be appreciated. | |

| I haven't heard anything about it. | |

| You've probably got till the end of this year. CompTIA has done the usual survey before they upgrade an exam. They always give plenty of time before they retire an exam. Don't worry. Knock it out and you'll be fine. | |

| Comptia states that they anticipate the launch of the revised exam to be early 4th quarter. Beta testing will occur in Q3. | |

| My previous response applies to Net+. I haven't heard anything about revisions to i-Net+. You should be o.k. | |

| Just as others said, you should be okay.
CompTIA right now is working on the N+ test upgrade which should be launched in the fourth quarter of 2001, maybe after that, they will think about revising the I-Net+. So you are looking at an I-Net+ update around June/July 2002 (my guess) |
