| I'm eliminating MP3s and DVDs as choices without explaination to this forum - 'nough said.
This is from Macromedia's web site.
"What is the difference between Macromedia Shockwave and Flash Players?
Macromedia Shockwave and Flash Players are both free web players from Macromedia. Macromedia Flash Player is automatically included with any download of Macromedia Shockwave Player. Each has a distinct purpose, and together they bring users the best rich-media content on the Web.
Macromedia Flash Player displays Web application front-ends, high-impact Web site user interfaces, interactive online advertising, and short-form to long-form animation.
Macromedia Shockwave Player displays destination Web content such as high-performance multiuser games, interactive product simulations, online entertainment, and training applications. By using Xtra extensions, you can extend Macromedia Shockwave Player to play back custom-built applications"
Looks like Shockwave to me.
