I have a couple of questions I need answered, if anyone can help me, about the i-net+ exam 410.

Does anyone know the answers to these questions?

1. When tim types in his favorite URL it changes to http://store.myfavorite.com

Is this a second level domain?
Is this a subdomain level domain?
Are the files for this website stored on webserver server called my “store”?

2. Is the value tag a part of the

Attribute of HTML?
Element of HTML?

3. What “flavors” of HTML 4.0 is recommended by W3C?

Transitional
Strict
Frameset

4. Vin wants to increase bandwidth on his network. He is currently using cable 5. What is the least expensive way for him to upgrade his network.

Switch to a wireless network
Upgrade to a cable 6
Employ a thinnet coaxial cable

5. What is the recommendation of W3C about HTML 4.0

HTML 4 must use Cascading Style Sheets?
HTML 4 must use tags?
HTML 4 should use Cascading Style Sheets and mark up tags?

6. What is the best example of a full URL?
http://www.examcram.com http://www.examcram.com/edit/company www.examcram.com

Thanks in advance for your help

Wow, you are all over the place today. That's okay, but see my response to one of your other questions. "Exam 410" is not an I-Net+ plus exam. It is the CIW foundations exam. Which exam are you planning to take, I-net+ or CIW foundations?

Is this a second level domain? YES
Is this a subdomain level domain? No
Are the files for this website stored on webserver server called my “store”? No

2. Is the value tag a part of the

Attribute of HTML?
Element of HTML?

The value tag gives value to the element and the attribute
ie:
<DIV ALIGN "center">
<DIV -element
ALIGN -attribute
"center"> - value

3. What “flavors” of HTML 4.0 is recommended by W3C?

4. Vin wants to increase bandwidth on his network. He is currently using cable 5. What is the least expensive way for him to upgrade his network.

Upgrade to a cable 6
This is a potential test question. And we discussed in class. If it mentions cable category 5 and upgrading, most likely the question will be cat 6 cable used for fast Ethernet. And Cat 5 allows for easy upgrade to fast Ethernet as part of the definition.

5. What is the recommendation of W3C about HTML 4.0

HTML 4 should use Cascading Style Sheets and mark up tags?
I cannot tell you why I know this...I will have to do research

6. What is the best example of a full URL?

Thanks for your help Flynmonkie. I passed the CIW Foundations test today.

Thanks to Baz I realized that I posted these questions in the wrong forum. Nonetheless, I found answers to some of these questions which I'm sure helped me pass the test. Thanks again.
