| This was one of the wierdest exams I have sat up to now. Think only my knowledge of networking got me through. Used the Exam Cram book to study, helped a lot! | |

| Hey Scotty,
Let me be the first to say "congratulations".
I am taking my exam tomorrow and I hope I have the same good fortune. In what way was the exam wierd, can you give us some details what was unusual about this exam versus others in the past?
I also sent you a private message that you might want to look into for the future.

| Just some of the questions were a bit ambiguous, not really sure what the correct answer was. Usual CompTIA type exam stuff. | |

| Hey Scotty,
Well, I took the exam today and I passed with a score of 91% and one question really bothered me seeing the answer was so damn vague, it wanted to know what the initials X.Y.Z. means and well the question did not even give any content to ask if it was related to Web-Security or Web-Page coding!! This is a real strong HINT if you have taken the MS-FrontPage 98 and/or the Microsoft Internet Information Server you would know either answer for X.Y.Z. and so I guessed the more popular usage, not sure if I was correct or not.
What bothers me about CompTIA exams is the fact that the questions can be so poorly worded that maybe they should have an English Professor grade them on their clarity, grammar and such. Why is it I can read a text book and take their questions and either I know the answer or at least know what they want, but not always on the exams? Yeah, I have taken numerous Microsoft, Novell and CompTIA exams and it is SAD to see these type of exams.
I left a comment to the CompTIA folks and I bet they won't answer my question/comment about my #8 exam question and I surely explained that I knew the answer for both scenarios. I hope CompTIA does a much better job on their next release that is now in "BETA Testing"!
Well, I just need to FAX my score and pay my dues to get the CIW-Associate certification after passing the i-Net+ exam too!
Thanks to you'll for the heads up and not sure which exam is next? | |

| Congrats!
Maybe I got a few more strange questions, but I do agree its about time CompTIA got their wording sorted out. |
