I noticed a lot of people who have the i-net+ also have the network+. I took networking essentials in order to prepare for the i-net+. So how close is the network+ exam as in relation to networking essentials, and what is a good study reference for the network+?

The Man, i-net+.

I have done both net+ and net ess. net plus is net ess mixed with some tcp/ip and a little bit of clients (linux, win, novell). On the whole about 75-80% of net+ comes right from net ess.

I believe if you get your CNA (the single cert test for novel) you get credit for MS Net Ess.

Thats what im going to do once i have my 3 core NT4 tets (allready got one). Then my 2 electives. That way ill get my MCSE and CNA at hte same time.

You can order the novel 5.1 cd from novel for 15 bucks (3 user demo)

A+, N+, I-Net+, MCP (soon to be MCSE, CCNA and CNA)
