Author what kind of Jobs...

2000-09-09, 1:04 pm

Just passed the i-net+ yesterday, but what I'm not sure of is what type of jobs I can apply for. The whole computer scene is fairly new to me. I still have to take ciw tests, but if I only have the i-net+ what kind of work can I apply for? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Congratulation! The Man, may I ask you what
study method or manual you used.

Thank you Zap, The books I used to pass the exam were the Examcram cramsession, and the i-net+ cert for dummies, which I think was the better of the two,as far as being closest to the exam. If you plan on taking the test, I recomend the dummies book.
Good luck!

The Man,
With just an i-net cert, the job you want to apply for is some kind of Internet or ISP helpdesk work. You won't get more than that without experiance and/or a more advanced cert. Still, they can be decent jobs paying in the 30k+ range here in upstate NY. But get a job in the industry as soon as possible to get the experiance you will need to advance.
