Author To Phantom309 (I am sorry!)

To Phantom309,

If I did anything to offend you I sincairly apologize. I hope I can clear up some mistakes:

1st: I really do appriciate your test, but found a few typing errors and wrong answers. I agree with the other readers that you should learn for yourself, but I tried to help out by pointing out the errors and made the changes in the original HTML/JavaScript source and offered to send it to you, so you could (re)place it.

2nd: I did not mean to offend you by putting your HTML/JavaScript test on my website. I only found out that you used the RAW dump, which can be found on this forum as well, and cut and paste into a testing program which I (and others) often use. So it's only that source that I used, but since I liked your explaning, I hoped you would let me use them. If you do not want me to use your explanations, and putting in a link to your Website, than I will not do so!

3rd: Allthough my site is a dotcom site, it only costs me money. All what can be found there is also free of any charge. The reason it is a dotcom site is that it will not display (in my opinion) anoying banners and it was easy to get. It is being used as a source for questionsets based on the program TestMaster (made and available free of charge, by Bob Beveridge) and available for everyone.

4th: I hope you will accept my apologies and we can be on normal speaking terms again. I do hope for all the other readers of this forum that you will place the test back online again (even with the small typing errors and some incorrect answers).

One last thing, because English is not my native language there might be some typing errors in this message as well!

Hope to hear from you!

No need to apologize. I blew up over nothing and it is I who owe you the apology. Let me explain briefly about the exams. When I am though with them, I unload them from my hard drive and just move on to the next one. So what is on the site is what was there when I took the exam. If some one would like to download the free test making software from my site and fix the exam(s), i'll be more then happy to send you the template and when you send it back I'll post the update. It's not that I don't care,it's that it's hard for me to focus on more than three or four exams at once. And once I'm done with the exam(s), I purge all the eroneous crap from my brain housing group to make room for new crap.

As far as any of the material on the site goes, that is free for the taking and anyone can have it to use, make other exams, repost or to do what ever they choose. I'm really not that territorial.

Again, I most humbly apologize for the sudden impulse of ignorance that over came me. I only have two guidelines in life that I live by. 1. You can't talk down to me like I was something that you scraped off the bottom of your shoe; and 2.; You can't put your hands on me, my family or my freinds. Aside from that, I'm a pleasure to be around.

Thanks for helping clear the air. If I can ever be of any help to you or anyone on this forum, please don't hesitate to ask.

Glad to hear you are not upset anymore. I will send you the corrections which I (and some colleques of mine) found and changed, in the week to come. I will, now that you agree to it, place the same test in TestMaster format on http://www.tmqbase.com, where anyone can download it free of any charge. If anyone feels that there are still errors on this test and other tests that can be found there I will certainly like to hear it!

I noticed that you are also in persuit for CCNA. I have downloaded the questionsets there but have not found the time to start.

Boweise,

Always nice to hear that people appriciate your work...

If you (or other readers) find answers to questions that you can prove to be wrong, please let me know with a detailed explanation which I can add to the question involved. The tests that can be found are allready edited by at least two other IT instructors, but hey nobody is perfect!
