I heard Comp TIA was going to change the fomat for the I-net to "reactive" where if you miss one question, you get an additional question on the topic. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, when?

I think that might be for A+ DOS/Core. I read somewhere it is going to be Adaptive As of end of July or August . I am not so sure.

Here it is: Beginning July 28, 2000 CompTIA's A+ certification exam will be available in an adaptive test format in English only. CompTIA has moved to an adaptive format for several reasons, including: the adaptive format tailors itself to the ability of the test taker; it is just as reliable and valid as the conventional exam with less items; and it is more efficient for the candidate.

The adaptive format is ONLY for the English tests. If you choose Spanish for instance, it is still in the old format. For i-Net+ nothing has changed as far as I know.

Network + is going to adaptive in November. I haven't seen anything about inet + going adaptive.
