Ressources for I-NET+
|
|
|
| Hi all,
I'm in the process of gathering information for the I-NET+ Cert. I usually take a week easy gathering guides and online tests for practive once i have readed a book and studied enough. The only things i have runned into so far is the guide from this site and the one on Cramsessions. Anybody out there have some links to share ? Would be really appreciated . Thanks.

| Behave,
A user named Augie, posted an i-NET+ flashcard file at examdrill.com. I transfered the questions into an Exam Drill file and it's available at the examdrill.com site, along with the flashcard file. These don't look like braindump questions, but a lot of them cover what you see in the dumps. I thought they were very good.

Oh yeah right Bob Forgot to mention that ressource. I visit your site usually twice a week to see what's new. I have found an HTML based test on an angelfire site. I'll compile them into an mdb file and ask the guy if it's ok that i make that file public. If so i'll send it to ya .. maybe you'll feel like including it on your site since there are not many ressouces out yet. (I'll check both carefully just to make sure that not all questions are found in the Augies flashcards.). Thanks for the post anyhow .
Another quickie here, i have seen people stating that the best book for I-Net+ is the one from Sybex. I'm gonna order a book soon to prepare, do you have others suggestions or do you also think that one is the way to go ? Thanks man and keep up the good work with ExamDrill

| I used the Sybex book and the Syngress book. The Syngress book was more in depth, almost too much for the material covered in the exam, and the CD-ROM test with is sorry. The Sybex book was pretty good, but it could have been a little deeper, however using it in conjunction with notes from some of these sites should set you up pretty well for the exam. | |
|
| I have the Sybex book and it seems to be quite thorough. However, I have collected about 200 questions from this dump and am in process of checking the answers.
Don't remember how many, but some of the ones I've checked so far were not in the Sybex book. But that's probably true of any single book. Like the Network+, some of these questions are extremely difficult.

| hi Behave,
1.use I-Net study guide by David Groth
2.use Auggie's flashcard
3. get the dumps for review
4.if you are an experienced internet user, you SHOULD pass this exam!
5. dont just depend on the dumps alone, on my exam more then 50%of the questions were new to me (not in any forums...), so Study hard!
I think this exam covers internet stuffs in general, but it's not an easy exam.
I passed with just an 86%, but hey, a pass is a pass
Good luck for all of you who plan to take I+

Thanks for the input Webman . I'll order a book tommorow and i'll start with that. I have just passed Network+ so some parts of I-Net+ will still be fresh . As they say, passing with 80% or passing with 100% is basically the same. You get the same piece of paper . Thanks again.
