passed the exam today!

| hi all, just came back from writing the exam
passed with 86%, not bad....
a few weeks ago there were postings asking whether a person should take N+ exam before I+ --> I think that by passing the N+ (and studying for it, of course) gives you lots of basics needed in passing I+ exam.
There were lots of questions (most of it) which I haven't seen before in any dumps...
sorry I dont remember much of the questions., again, the wording of the exams were designed to confuse the test-taker, i think..
bottom line, I+net exam is much much harder than Network+, but if you know your material i think you should be OK.
I used David Groth (Sybex, I-net study guide) mostly!
thanks for everyone who answered questions, posted dumps, flashcards, etc..

| Way to go Webloard!
I will take the test on July 19th at 2:30....so the next 11 days are being spent doing last minute cramming and review.
I am a bit concerned about your statement that most of the questions you saw were not in any of the dumps.
After this will come Net+ then A+...
Again, congratulations!

| RickF, in my exam (July 7th), there were many new questions i have never seen in any dumps. However, if you know the material, you'll do just fine! especially if you are an experienced internet user!
if you use any braindumps to prepare for the exam and you understand the questions (and the answers), i can assure you that you will pass the exam -> so, DONT WORRY!!
i'd say Groth's book is quite good.
thanks to Randy & others for recommending that book!
now, off to CNA or CCNA? (any suggestions?)

| Congrats!
I took my exam late June, and about 30% of the questions were new to me. You're right -- if a person knows and understands the material, they should do fine.
Congrats again!
