Passed Exam Today, Big Thanks to All!

| Wanted to Say a BIG Thanks to all for all of the Great Information Posted. I took that exam this morning and walked away with an 88%, missed 7 questions I believe.
Here are some things that I can remember:
No deep level knowledge of TCP/IP Subneting is required. However remember:
Class A: 1-126
Class B: 128-191
Class C: 192-223
Remember the Default number of hosts per default Subnet example: Class B 255.255.0.0 Allows 64,000 Hosts)
Know your DNS Record Types, CNAME, SOA, MX, Pointer, etc.
Know the differences between a Router, Bridge, and Gateway.
Router: Can connect dissimilar Network Types.
Bridge: Can connect LAN's of different Speeds.
Gateway: Clients need to connect to different hosts that use other protocols.
Here is a link on some basic router and bridge info: http://www.ktgroup.co.uk/techinfo/abtbridges.html
I can't remember too many questions at all that strayed away from the practice exams from Angle Fire. I used these and they were great! Many of the questions from these practice exams were right on!
I originally purchased the Syngress Study Guide, but after two days of looking it over took it back for the Sybex one. (Much Better!) Also I purchased the Exam Cram for this Exam. If you have a lot of industry experience and don't really want a refresh on the Internet technologies and IP, then go for the Exam Cram, it will hit all of the Key Exam Points needed.
Good Luck to All!
