Advanced Subnetting on the inet+ test?
| In the inet+ exam is there questions about advanced subnetting? Are you given a range of IP's and then asked to give a subnet for that range of IP's?
Or do they concern the info on the default masks?
Any help will be good.

| I don't think I've seen anyone mention that sort of question on their exams or braindumps. I'm guessing there's really just a question or two about which is the default subnet mask for a certain IP address, that sort of thing.

| All I had was the standard default gateway questions. Nothing about serious subnetting. You have to know what a subnet IS, beyond that, I don't think you'll have to learn. not for this test anyway.

| On my test, it was a default subnet question, but it had a twist -- What is the default subnet mask for a slash 16 network address (255.255.0.0), so know CIDR and how to subnet those kinds of addresses!
