| I passed w 88%.
Thankīs to Randy, Sci Fi and BobCat. A specially thankīs to AdamR, you are Mr Inet+ !!!
OK, the test is bad wordly, but so are the some of the "dumps" here. A lot of discussion could be saved here. For example this question:
#Which is least secure from outside attacks?
A)Internet
B)Extranet
C)Intranet
D)VPN
The answer is: INTERNET. I know for sure because I blow this one. My answer was: Extranet, because I read Comptias "from outside", and I associated outside with Internet. Confusing... eh?
Here are some new I would like to discuss:
# A common error made in develping an international English language Web site is:
A) improper use of punction.
B) use of colloquialisms
C) use of emerging standards
D) inproper use of capitalization
What in earth does Comptia mean???
# What client enables you to establish a command line session host with a network host?
A) FTP
B) HTTP
C) Telnet
D) NNTP
I answered: Telnet. But couldnīt it be FTP also??? I donīt know if my answer is right but I really would like someone to figure that out.
#Whic type of index enables you to search a site fr a specific phrace.
A) Static Index server
B) Site server
C) Keyword server
D) Full text server
I probably blow this one too.
Thatīs all I remember because these questions really gave me a bomping head.
Thatīs all from me, Iīm looking forward to see your opinion about these questions.

| Thanks Lakrits! I haven't even took the test yet. Hopefully I can take it soon. I feel I'm almost ready.

Yeah, the answer's telnet. All telnet clients log you into a command line session. I believe most FTP clients are graphical, except for command line FTP clients, i.e. FTP, ncFTP, and others for UNIX systems. But FTP really isn't a "command line session". What I think they mean for command line session is a session where you log in, and you are presented with the command line like you were logged in locally on the machine (at least on *nix). Hope that didn't sound confusing. Let's just say, TELNET is the answer.

Maybe it's B: use of colloquialisms, that's the use of informal/everyday/slang words. It's probably common that people don't know the proper use of other language's slang. You should really stick with the formal vocabulary. If not, hire somebody that does. CompTIA's using a big word.
