| Hey guys,
Well here are some of the questions I remember from my exam. The exam was actually quite tough surprisingly. I was expecting something along the lines of Randy’s braindump, but actually I had some questions that I had never even smelt of before. Rather heavy but on the whole, not bad.
Along with another girl we are the first to be i-net+ certified in South Africa. hehe, pretty cool.

Hmmm, well that’s about all I can remember guys, sorry about that.
What I can tell you though is:
Find out what the hell Corba is!
Do research on Kerberos
Know your ports
I got two vector based questions (both of which I answered Flash)
I got two questions with CORBA as possible answers.
Do research on SNMP (I dunno what that is…?)
I was a complete stress before the exam, but relax, it really isn’t anything WAY over the top. Use DS technicals test, the notes from DS Technical and Examnotes.net. Do your own research. Study from the Sybex manual, the notes on the net, the Sybex CD and all the braindumps you can find, and you will wax it.
Ciao guys | |

| 81 good score. These were the same questions I had. | |
|
| Thank very much for this good feedback
Here is some info on Corba from Webopedia:Short for Common Object Request Broker Architecture, an architecture that enables pieces of programs, called objects, to communicate with one another regardless of what programming language they were written in or what operating system they're running on. CORBA was developed by an industry consortium known as the Object Management Group (OMG).
There are several implementations of CORBA, the most widely used being IBM's SOM and DSOM architectures. CORBA has also been embraced by Netscape as part of its Netscape ONE (Open Network Environment) platform. Two competing models are Microsoft's COM and DCOM and Sun Microsystems' RMI.

| Congradulations! Your right, it was a tricky exam, but not impossible. Just get those network basics down. So what's your next plan of action? | |
|
| Your comment:
Do research on SNMP (I dunno what that is…?)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
I am surprise that you books you use for preparing inet did not cover, anyway here is definition....
SNMP is the protocol governing network management and the monitoring of network
devices and their functions.
This should be part of the notes here at examnotes
