Author Took I-net+ before Network+....passed!

I decided to go against most posts and take I-net+ first before taking the Network+. I studied only Cramsession and Examnotes information. I also used the practice tests here at examnotes and from ds-technical. At any rate, I passed with an 81.

Most people say to take Network+ first, which I can see....but I can say, it isn't necessary. There are some questions on routers, bridges, switches and gateways....but if you know this kind of information, you should be fine.

The reason I suggested taking the Network+ first was because a great deal of that material is repeated on the i-Net+ and because it is a bit harder. But it doesn't really matter. The bit that the i-Net+ had on the TCP/IP utilities and basic networking will be repeated on the Network+ but in much greater detail. But congratulations on your great score!
