| I recently just purchased the Sybex book for I-net+. I've been hearing mostly that the exam is easy, so can I avoid studying from the Sybex book and STILL pass the exam, just by going to these other sites. I do have some knowledge about web design as I have a site I developed myself. | |

| Only at your peril. The Sybex book is the best resource. Study it and you're guaranteed to pass the exam. At 185 bucks a pop, you don't want to have to retake it. And what's the worst that can happen? You'll just review the material, and nothing will be lost. You very well may be able to pass the exam without the book, but many people have been saying that their tests were quite difficult. It must have been a different exam than the one that I took, but it may merit serious study. Good luck. | |

| I'm gonna try it without a book...just using all the info I can find on the net to study from.I did put together a notebook with almost 400 pages of info I am using to study from though. I also took the list of stuff covered on the exam and researched what I didn't know. I started studying for it on the 14th of this month so I only gave myself 2 weeks after taking Network+.
Will let you know if it worked for me on Monday after I take the exam. Wish me luck!

| Well, I passed with a 94% - no book. So, it can be done with the study material you can find on the net. Just make sure you take CompTia's list of covered subjects and research it well. |
