The Cram Sheet at this site and mcsefreak states
"Trademark protection applies to graphical artwork other than logos"
Exam Drill III v 7.29.00 says
Trademarks apply to words, phrases, and images used to describe products and services.
Graphical artwork other than logos would be copyrighted.
