What is right?
I know it is 16,7 million colors but what in bits.

for jpg remember 24 bit

(gif 8 bit and png up to 48 bit)

robeks, what is 16,7 million as a power of two? Whenever computer speak turns to bits, take two to that power and see what you get?

2^24 is 16,7 million.

2^16 is 65,536

2^8 is 256

So there's your answer. And *why*.
