Hello All

How hard is "HARD"

When talking about the core exam, should I be studying night and day for a Month? A couple of hours a day?

How in depth is the test? Just a lot of general question or some questions that are totally out the loop.

I'm from the Win3.1 - 98se days, but I've been working in the IT field for years,

First Job: Crap-USA as the hardware sales "weenie"
Funnest Job: tech support for Mind Spring.ISP "Could drink on Job"
Present Job: Dialer Tech.

Lately I've been working XP-2000 boxes at my job as a Dialer Tech and have my own home network running XP. have also passed college level courses in networking.

So with that said, should I treat it like the "CCNA" cert or cram for a 2 weeks and go take it?

Any advise from those that have been there and back would be extremely helpful.

Thanks

Hard is a relative term. Grab the exam objectives and work your way down the list. If you feel comfortable in your knowledge, then go for it.

Grab a couple of free study guides, here on EN and over at Cramsession. Look over the A+ 4Real book for free at www.certiguide.com . If it all seems like a piece of cake then it is. If it seems a little foreign then a little more study is probaly in order.
