I took the hardware exam (220-301) in May and only just FAILED it. I got 509 and the pass mark was 515. Iam going to start studying for it again so I can hopefully retake it in April. Iam going to use the books I originally bought Mike Meyers A+ passport ISBN 0-07-219363-8 and DAvid Groth Sybex A+ Complete ISBN 0-7821-4243-5. Iam not currently employed in the IT sector so have no real hands on experiance apart from building and couple of PCs from scratch. I think the main areas I struggled on was cabling and CPUs. Any help and encouragement would be much appreciated.
