| passed first try!! i used trancenders "no real help" ian, ed's 977 and sever5 & 6 dumps. studied hard for the last 3 weeks!!
only one question i did not see from the dumps above. i could not belive how many q's were almost word for word!! i also found a copy of troytec, found it to be like the dumps above also
3 down 3 to go. anyone know a good study guide for net ess??

| they are braindumps that can be used as study guides or as practice tests. i used
www.dogpile.com as a search eng. and typed in "mcse braindumps" in the search window.

| Good job Jesse! I find that Exam Notes books are usually right on target, might want to check it out for Net. Ess....
I haven't taken Net. Ess., so I don't really know how it rates to the exam. Did use it some to study for Net+, and found it contain some good information.

I used the Exam Cram series for Networking Essentials and found it to be very helpful. I started with Sybex but hated the way information was presented.
Good Luck - Oh, and try not to rely on braindumps too much because Freak is right in that they are often filled with incorrect information and can be unreliable. You can get the same affect by taking a lot of practice exams. If you haven't already, check out:

| thanks for the the help. i have the trancenders for net ess and a book i borrowed from a friend although with the deadline nearing i will be hard pressed to finish up. i would also like to take tcp/ip also before the feb 28 cut off. i know freak what you mean by braindumps being incorrect and sometimes thought of as a way of cheating but they can still be used as a study guide. look at trancenders practice tests i have seen many versions of their questions on ms tests. you still have to still know your stuff in order to pass the exam. | |

There's still plenty of time! I just started two and a half weeks ago and tomorrow I take NT Enterprise to (hopefully) wrap-up the four cores! I am going to do TCP/IP next week and, if all goes well, Proxy 2.0 the week after - BOOM! MCSE with two weeks to spare! Go for it and good luck!

| in the future i will not mention dumps. GOOD LUCK, channon with your test!!! i have net ess next wed "hope i pass" then tcp/ip
the thing i worry about is like december's deadline the exam schedule fills up and if you fail a test can you get in for anther try?? hope it won't be a mad rush!! i don't think proxy 2.0 is going to be retired. any clue of the electives will not be retired so you can still obtain a nt mcse?? does SQL7.0 FIT??? AND IS IT ON THE RETIRED LIST?? all this retirement crap gets me confused with what is still out there for nt mcse status.. | |

I have had better luck scheduling exams through VUE (www.vue.com) instead of Sylvan.
Yes the SQL 7.0 exams are still fair game as is Proxy 2.0 and a number of others. The Microsoft Training and Cert. site has everything you need to know.
I'm leaving in an hour to take Enterprise - wish me luck all! |
