Failed the exam yesterday. Second time taking it.....
Studied Ian_Rav, Microsoft Press Book, Trancender and Exam Cram.
Test was almost the same as when I took I took it the first time. I am at loss for what to study now. I have to learn the information, I just cant memorize and if I was really good at memorizing, I would have gone to school at Yale or Harvard......
I guess everybody learns in different ways.
I do want to thank Spid and a few others on this site for there help.
I did my best......

| Don't feel bad a classmate of my passed only on his 3rd try and not by much.
Try your luck at another center and do as many practice tests as you possibly can the entire weekend before testing again.
It is a tough test, and your failure does not mean you don't know the material.

| Keep your head up bud!
The test is pretty brutal. If you can identify what your problems areas were, and focus in on those, you'll be on your way to passing this bad-boy. 
I completely agree with GalaxyGal, your recent setback does not in any way mean that you do not grasp the material at hand.

| Third time coming up for me on 1/19/01. See my earlier entry on IAN-RAV errors to see just how confused I am!!! Somtimes I think this is all for naught, meaning by the time I get done this, MS will have gone completely in another direction.

| Don't give up. I just passed using a prep-test called Enterprise Drill from www.examdrill.com. It will help you with your memory, and speed-up your test-taking skills. Check out the demo from that site. You WILL kick its butt!

| No one should feel bad for failing this one. I passed with a good margine but if I had to write it again I'd still be worried about failing it. As for what you should study now... Hmmm, thats tough. I wouldn't know where to start myself. Good luck... DO NOT GIVE UP! | |

I am not as bummed out as I was earlier.
I probably will attempt this test again.
I like pain, I enjoy pain.....
Microsoft bring it on, come on Bill, is that the best you can do......

I really appriciate all the words of encouragement from individuals like Spid and GalaxyGal and others.....
I will attempt to seek out other study materiels, will contact Transcender and see what they say....
Does anybody have any other advice on study materiels. The only solution at this time I can think of is to set up two domains in my house with a PDC, BDC and workstation on each domain configure trust realasonships, local group, and global groups..etc
Now all I need is $$$$ for more computers....
ha ha ha
