| Hi One and All
This post is just to ask about study material and what people thought about the Enterprise exam (dificult,medium,). I am at present using Win NT 4 MCSE Study Guide by Alan Carter, NT Server in Enterprise (Sybex Network Press) and exam cram- is this sufficient. I have completed Net Ess and W/S with 1000 and Server with 93%, but am worried from what most people say that the enterprise is a stinker. I would like to have Enterprise and TCP/IP finished before End of Feb and do my final exam (proxy 2.0) by the end of March. Well folks here goes. Any information would be appreciated on this subject | |

| Hey guy. Ok, to start. This exam is killer. Its long, with lots of reading. Take the exam cram for this one and throw it in the trash. its what I used and for the most part its useless. There are only about 5 chapters difference from the Server book. I also used transcenders. These where very usefull, but not as usefull as they have been for most tests. Another trick on this exam is that most, if not all of the scenario questions use the more complexe answering method of "chose all which would happen if..." instead of " Did this give you the required...or the required and one optional"....etc. The problem there is that all of my study questions used the old way. I hate to suggest this, but... Get hold of the Rav_Ian dump. You can use it just like Trancenders by reading each question, choose your answer and then scroll down to get the real answer along with some prety well though out explanations. Best of luck.

| The test was more difficult than the others I took (Workstation, Server). I had a lot more questions on Network Monitor than I expected. I used New Riders and Using NT Server as a supplemental, and all the practice test I could find on the internet. I didn't have the luxury of getting any transcenders for this one. And I would agree with the other poster, this test used alot of check all that apply questions which are more difficult.

| Yeah!!, Enterprise is a stinker, bombed the exam first time a couple of weeks ago. Been studying everything in microsoft press books, reccomend them "Supporting Windows NT Server in the Enterprise"....
good books, learn stuff. dont memorize..this ain't like taken exams 70-073 or 70-067...
??anybody know anything about "pass through authentification"....????
