Is anyone passing this exam?

| Is anyone taking this exam passing? It has been very slow on this posting area for the last few days and no one is posting anything about the exam and whether they passed or failed. Please let us know how you did!

| I'm taking it on 7/19. I hope someone else is taking before then and post their experiences. I have all the tools, now just applying it. How's everyone else doing with thier studies? I'm about trusted out(smile)

| Man I just can seemed to get motivated for this exam. I know that I will take this exam on 7/31 but I procrastinate until the last minute. It only really takes me 1 good week of solid study to pass an exam and I think that next week I will be stressing! Oh well!

Hey, take a look at my post above this one...Boy, I know how you are feeling...I am trying to decide whether or not to stick with my planned test date at the end of the month, 28th...I still have a fair amount to read in my text before I can even consider hitting the Transcenders etc...Any suggestions before I procrastinate too much?
What are you using to study from and do youi have extensive background in the field? | |

Tommorow i am going to take the Exam.
i go with lot of confidence,strength,hope,love and knowledge.
i studied from Exam Essentilas,Ian`s dump,Pc-Age,Cramsession guide and McMcse guide.
I know it is going to be a hard one,and a big challenge.i love it.
i wish to you all success and joy!
Tommorow at 9:00 Israel time i will be making another step towards my goal.
What a Great feeling!

| I took the exam and it was tough. Passing score is 560 since it is adaptive, and I scored a 700. If you have taken the Server exam, you should take this exam shortly thereafter. Know your trusts, NTFS permissions, PDC/BDCs, replication, resource management, and of course, stuff from Server, too. I used Microsoft Press, ExamCram, and Transcenders. Since it is adaptive, you can't skip or go back, so take your time and don't rush the exam. I had 25 questions and it took me an hour. Don't be afraid to use the scratch paper and pencil they give you to draw out and visualize the questions, that's why it is there, to help you. Keep studying and good luck! | |

i have now returned from Tel-Aviv where i took my NT-Enterprise Exam.
i passed it with a score of 612.i know it is not a good score,but i am happy with it.
My friends!this is Exam maybe the hardest one,but if you study hard enoough,do a million questions from all kinds of Practice Exams,and read the pages of "Cramsession" and also from "McMcse" you will for sure,pass it.
go with confidence,with love,with positive energies and thoughts.convince yourself that you are going to PASS this Exam.and you will.
My dear friends!it is not hard to pass.Enjoy your Exams!it is so much fun to be in such a challange.
i have two more Exams to take now!what a thirll!!

| Hey Sunmak, I know how you feeel. Im not even a 1/4 way into my Microsoft Press book yet. I am planning to get serious with this exam this weekend. I am getting a new computer this weekend and plan on creating a small network and install server and use the Microsoft Press book to practice. But knowing me, I'll probably end up playing games!!!!
Has anyone who has recently taken the exam used the Exam Essencials program? How do those questions measure up to the real exam?

Well, Causnhavok I know how you feel...However, after some serious soul searching I think that I have decided to book the exam date today for the end of the month...I have found that in the past at least for me, the best study tool is to set an exam date...It has a way of knocking me out of procrastination mode....I hope that I can give myself enough time to do it..However, except for a few tasks to do this weekend, I am going to try to spend most of it getting through the book...Then hopefully I can start really hitting the practice tests...I think that the hardest part is going to be doing the scenarios and keeping all the trusts etc straight...Oh well, I guess I will see...Worst case scenario I can change the date, but so far I haven't needed too and have done well...But as you know, this exam is kinda a BEAR!
Have fun with your new computer, but not too much!! Boy, it is really hard to study in the Summer!!! Take care | |

| Hey Sunmak, I do the samething as you. I pay for my exam date and that pressures me into studying. Makes me focus and realize I have a goal that I just shelled out 100.00 I really can't afford to waste. Do you know how much Beer I could buy for $100.00? Thats enough beer for a weekend!j/k. I also agree its hard to study in the sumer but it's going to be worse now that football season is almost upon us! Damn I'm screwed!!! Go Vikes!!

I think I can do it because I have been studying but I still have a whole lot to get into my wandering head....

| This is my stratagy, I read one or 2 chapters a day and review my cramsession guide daily. This usually take between 1-2 hours. then after 7 days, I start my transenders and spend 1 day learning the answers to the questions. Then the weekend before the exam, I will look at dumps and see if I know the answers, then I will read all the study guides I got off the net and if I keep scoring high on practice exams, then I know that I am ready. This is how I cram before and exam. WoW that rhymes. How do you study?

Well, my study habits are somewhat simillar, I hit the books for a few chapters a day, unless there is outside interference and cross check with a few on-line tutorials if I can find a good one...Then I try to give myself about 2 weeks to work through various test simulations ie: Transcenders, on-line stuff etc...Probably a little bit of overkill, but sometimes my skull feels thick! I don't know why but I am really kinda fighting myself on this one, maybe because most of the questions on this one are so longwinded...At least in the practice tests etc...Anyway, thats about it for now, I better read a bit before I go totally unconscious here..I still have alot to go!!

i want to share with you how did my Exam look like.
At first there was an explanation about the format of the Adaptive Exam.then i think there were 19(!) questions like a survey,but the person in charge of the room just clicked them all away in five seconds.
And then...the Exam begins.
i must tell you all,Brothers,Sisters
Exam Essentials this time,is not a good resource of questions.even not one(!) question was from there and i was very much surprised and even shocked.
have you been to Ian`s Dump?this is the place to get the questions from.i think that 90% of the questions of the Exam were from Ian...
the scenario question about Caracas and Chicago..i had three of them.i had no question about Ras,but lot of questions about Trusts.10 at least....
as the questions went on and i was closer to the 25th question i was really excited..i knew that if my Exam will end at the 25th...i passed for sure.and if i will see a 26th Question...i am failing.
my heartbeats went faster and stronger while reading the 25th Question...and when i answred it,the Exam finished!uffffff...i was so happy.then i saw that Green line....i love that Green line that says that i passed!4th time i see that line,and it is so much fun!!
My friends,Brothers,Sisters..go with big confidence,tell yourself how great you are,tell yourself you are winners,that you shall pass this Exam.i did it all the way to Tel-Aviv.i told myself over and over again these things.it helped.i know it did.
I hope to hear from you all,My Dear Friends that you all passed this Exam.
It is not hard if it is not hard in your head.do the switch.
I have finished the core Exams and now i have two more to go.(Tcp/Ip & IIS 4.0)
I will see you all very soon in the Tcp/Ip forum and like this one will shall make it big and crowded...!

| My Preparation is pretty similar to everyone else i guess. I spend the firt 2 weeks reading and practice with my computers, i don't do any test. The third week i go back over my reading and labs practice and use the practice test. The fourth week i do nothing but testing. What i found good was i took my material and used a cd recorder and made a audio cd(or you can make a tape) for my traveling to work, and since i work about 35-45 minutes from home i like to utilize that time in the car in the mornings and afternoon. It's been effective. | |

| Passed the test only scored a 611 but it was good enough. I knew the test would be tough but I think it was just me having the jitters about it. The test is very passable and from what I have read on the posts you guys will have no trouble. I was kicked out after 25 questions.Thanks to all and good luck.

Congrats on passing the exam!! That is great..I am scheduled to take it in about 1.5 weeks but I am scared ****!! Finished reading the book yesterday and started doing transcenders etc...with variable scores, but I feel like everything I read has gone out of my head and I passed Server with good scores only a few weeks ago!!
Off hand, do you remember how many questions were in the Fravo set for this one? I refered to Fravo a little bit for server, especially the text, was a pretty good condensed version and it was free...Did't really know whether it was worth the bother to get the Enterprise especially not free!
Anyway, people say oh just use the dumps...First of all, I prefer to be able to reason out the answers and second, there appears to be so many wrong answers in there that it is not very comforting...Any suggestions would be appreciated....Getting close and not sure whether I can get really proficient in time...Thanks | |

Do you need Fravo Server in the Enterprise? Let me know. You'll notice that with anything in life, what works for you may not work for the next person and vice versa, so If you can study actively and use dumps as your backup then do that, but don't let anyone tell you what not to do for you. car1184@yahoo.com
