| According to RAV in the IAN dump...
#161-165
He says that if the clients are NT workstations that it automatically encrypts passwords and data. Can anyone verify this? I have not been able to find anything..

| Well, Rav may be wrong...I found this in TechNet..plus I don't think MS thinks that way in exam questions...
Setting up RAS Security on Accounts
Remote users must be authenticated by a Remote Access server before they can access or generate traffic on the network. This authentication is a separate step from logging on to Windows NT. User passwords and the authentication procedure are encrypted when transmitted over phone lines.

| The porblem is not if the situation is right or could be right but if MS see it that way. There always seem to be more than one way of doing something, but the only one that will pass you the test is the MS way. If you study ian-rav and petri they'll focus you in the right direction.
