| This test was not as bad as I feared it would be.
I got into the room, and prepared for the worst, though I had studied 3 hours every day for 3 weeks straight. I had used Exam Cram, Ian's Dump, Petri's and Exam Essentials.
I'd say that about 40 out of 55 questions came from those sources (or similar concepts to those questions). Thanks to that, I ended up with a 933, and a passing grade.
One question I distinctly remember is:
Your DHCP server with IP address 163.18.10.5 is configured to assign addresses in the 163.18.10.10 to 163.18.10.250 range. You have noticed that some workstations are beginning to show up with invalid IP addresses, the most recent being 163.18.11.21.
(There is an exhibit to view that shows the address being assigned and ack'd ... but check the address it is coming from ... 163.18.11.10 (or something like that). That is the key.)
What is causing the problem:
A) Your DHCP server has discovered another DHCP server on your network and automatically configured it to use the incorrect addresses
B) There was a conflict with the IP address originally assigned to the computer, so the DHCP server assigned it another IP address which was the invalid address
C) The DHCP server has run out of addresses in the specified range, and began to assign new ones.
D) There is another DHCP server on your network which is assigning the incorrect IP addresses.
...My answer: D

After a week's vacation, I returned to find I have 3 left to pass... so it's net essentials next. But I've got to book my next 2 exams as well before the slots get filled (they get filled quickly in my area). I'm thinking of TCP/IP since I already know some of it by experience and from what I've been studying.
My choices for the last one are Exchange, IIS, or Proxy. We use IIS at work, and will be going to Exchange sometime in 2k+1.. so those two seem logical. I've got to decide quickly
Thanks everybody for the kind words.
