Here are 2 questions I have seen and am not sure about.

I took my first test today NT Server 4 and got a 933.
Here are 2 questions that I have not seen before.
You have a 32 Bit application that slows down the computer. You notice when it runs, it takes 85% processor and Page/sec are .725
What do you do to fix this problem.
1. Run using command Start/Shared
2. Run using command Start/Separate
3. Add more memory
4. Add another processor.
I would say "C"

You need to edit an excel spreadsheet on another users computer. When
you access the spreadsheet remotely, you can Not make any changes.
When you access the spreadsheet locally you can make changes. What
can you do to be able to make changes to the spreadsheet remotely?

1. From your computer, change the Share permission to change
2. From the remote computer, change the Share permission to change
3. From your computer, change the File permission to change
4. From the remote computer, change the File permission to change

I chose 2

Am I right?

Hi MCSE Sellout

With Q1. I'd say you're right, becuase
in option 1 and 2, they aplly to Dos and 16-bit application and option 4 your paging files won't be affected by adding another processor, so C is correct.

With Q2. I'd say you are also right, because
you won't affect your share permissions on the remote computer by changing something on your own computer as in option 1 and 3.
And with option 4 file permissions don't apply because you are connecting remotely, therefore option 2's share(from remote)permissions will apply to you.

Hope this helped.

A minor correction on Suzie's analysis for the second question...
Although you ARE correct in that the answer is to change the share permissions on the remote computer keep in mind that both share AND NTFS permissions affect you when connecting remotely and only NTFS permissions apply when working interactively (logged on locally).
My correction does not affect this question, but will affect others :-)
