| Hi . I was looking around for a good info on TCP/IP exam, and I came across this site. I took my 70-073 exam about 3 weeks ago. This is what I remember.
You have A PC with Intel 386 Processor, 300MB Free Hard Disk, 16megs of ram. NT3.51 server OS How do you upgrade it to the NT4 workstation and preserve all the settings and applications? A) winnt32.exe. Install the operating System in the same directory as the NT3.51 workstation
B) winnt.exe. Install the operating System in default directory.
C) winnt32.exe. Install the operating System in different directory
D) You can not install NT 4 workstation on this machine.
I think you need at least a 486CPU
Your NT4 workstation has 3 modems. Multilink is enabled on the workstation and a server. How do you configure the RAS on the server to use the callback for security purposes.
A) Configure all 3 modems to call back the same number
B) Callback option is not possible
C) Configure all modems to call different number.
D) has something to do with the caller ID I chose B
Which 3 files are required for the unattended installation of the NT 4 workstation A) Winnt.exe
B) windiff.exe
C) sysdiff.exe
D) unattend.txt
E)UDF files
I chose C,D,E
You are installing a NT workstation on a computer that does not have a NIC card. You are planning to install a NIC card later. What option should you chose from the 'Network adapters" list? A) Generic NIC card
B) MS loopback adapter
C) None
D) something.....
I chose B. The New Riders book says that you need to chose a generic adapter, but they are wrong about this one.
I had a few question about NetWare connectivity, how to change a password for you NetWare account from the NT workstation. A few about printing.
I took the exam about 3 weeks ago, so I don't remember all the questions. Anyway, I think that this is a good site, well organized and it has potentials. So, i decided to contribute some feedback. If any of you have some info for the TCP/IP exam, please post it on the 70-059 board. Thank you.
