Author question about sysdiff.exe

my book doesnt explain sysdiff enough for me... when you are using sysdiff.exe to take a snapshot of a configuration of one machine. how is that transfered to the next machine... do you have to copy the sysdiff snapshot file to the next machine? i mean i assume that... but if a question asks you what 3 files you need to install 4 identical workstations blah blah... what are they?
unattended-blah.txt, the udf file, and what? the snapshot file? or what?

and another thing.. if you have 50 identical laptops and 50 identical pcs... and you want to automate the installation on them... how many answer files... and how many udf files?

i thought you only needed 2 answer files (one for the laptops and one for the pcs)and then only one udf file.. but i am seeing different answers thrown around...
