what is the key for VS.net

hello members,
last day i have installed visual studio.net and given key, it accepted the key and then installed the vs.net. when i started vs.net first time,it asked me to ener the key,when i press enter it closing all the windows and could not load windows installer.it simply going off.what is the problem?

can u please help me out in this regard.

VS .Net is like Windows XP, you need to activate it after installation. You can either connect to the internet and activate it that way or call the number provided.
