Problem: I can access the whole network, files, etc. But accessing the internet has been impossible. I've tried just about everything. Any ideas?
Thanks. | |

| upgrade to XP.
Are you using any kind of Proxy server on the network to access the internet? | |

| No proxy at all. And I guess you're right. We should upgrade to XP indeed. What I think at this point is that it could be a nic card issue even though we able to access the network.
One other thing. Could it be the fact that I also have NetBUI and TCP/IP?? Should I get rid of NetBUI and leave TCP/IP as the only protocol?

| have you try tracing route to some internet public IP and see where is it stopping? (eg tracert -d 1.1.1.1). Try doing nslookup etc and see if your PC have name resolution problem.
If you are 100% sure that your pc is not using NETBUI for accessing local network etc, then yes disable it |
