Author DVI vs VGA

I got a Dell 17inch LCD that has both VGA and DVI connectors. Now I have both kinds of connectors, but my KVM has only VGA. Question is... Is using DVI over VGA a really nice upgrade in that it's worth buying a DVI enabled KVM? Or is the difference so minimal it's not worth it?

DVI is certainly much sharper in my opinion

Our campus uses Dell systems. We have 17" flat panels on all our systems. Some are DVI, some are VGA. I don't see any difference. But I have 20/50 vision, so what do I know.
