Hi all, it's been awhile since I have posted here but I'm hoping someone can give me some insite.

I have a site of around 350 computers, currently they all have a C partition of 12 gig and a D partition of the remaining space.

I am told that we will need to change this to only have a C partition. Is there a way I can do this without rebuilding all the systems? I know of partition magic and have used it to resize partitions but can I merge partitions with that too?

We have user profiles stored on D as well as some programs. I want to be able to merge the partitions without causing damage to the software/profiles. Please tell me I'm not SOL!

Partition Magic should do what you need. Also, I'm not too sure, but I think that XP comes with a program that allows you to manage your partitions (Delete, create, etc.). It might be worth a look. Good luck to you on your project

thanks for the reply I have gotten my paws on a copy of Partition Magic 8.0.1 so I'm now attempting that. I keep getting an error when attempting to merge but am now doing scandisk/check disk in hopes that'll clear it up.
