| ..because they're considered cheating.
It's not your fault. If you do a search for cert materials, there are a lot of places out there that try to sell you the actual MCSE test questions. Some people here take offense to those. The worst part is that often those "actual answers" are wrong as they're based on the memory of the test taker.

| Thanks Sandy.
Yes all threads/posts that relate to braindumping or linking to braindump sites will be edited or locked.
If you can't pass the test without resorting to braindumps, then a career in IT is not for you.

At the bottom of that link is the Acceptable Use Policy for these forums. These terms do not mention anything about posts that relate to braindumps.
It seems to me, the only reason my thread was closed is because enforcer disagrees with me and feels that people who use exam materials are dumber than him. He has all the right to feel that way, but he has no grounds to close my thread.
I may be wrong, but having closed my thread, plus his latest comment about an IT career not being for me is offensive and violates the forum's harassment policy.
Furthermore, I am sure the people who pay to have advertisements on this site will not be satisfied if they found the moderators demoting their products.

| I, and most of the moderators on this board, will not have any links to braindumps in my/their forum.
The advertising is up to webmaster and we have no control over that.
And I stand by what I said about resorting to braindumps, however that is not aimed at you specifically, but at anyone who uses them. If you feel that it applies to you and are offended by that, then that is for you to deal with.
If you wish to participate in this forum and learn from and help the other techs on here, then you are welcome. However if all you are after is braindumps, then please feel free to leave and set down your hat at a forum/site that provides that sort of thing.

-- please reread the thread you closed... I was neither asking for braindumps nor linking to braindump sites. It did contain the work testking and, as Im sure you know, the link is added automatically by this site.

| I am not going to get involved in a debate about this so this is my last post on the subject.
My first post in this thread was a General statement to all who might read it, not at any particular individual. But I can see how it could be mistunderstood.
There have been many discussions about braindumps in this forum and they usually turn nasty therefore I nip them in the bud early.
If you read the second post in that thread and your reply to it you can imagine how it would escalate.
Now please lets move on.

| "guys, im closing this thread before it gets out of hand"
... would have been nice

| CyberFace, I agree with you that your original post was a valid question. I think the moderators definitely jumped the gun on closing the thread.
I have never used T*stKing, but I have been very satisfied with Transcender. Transcender could never be confused with a "braindump", but I think T*stKing has that reputation. Transcender is a reputable company and if my memory serves me, it was the recommended test prep company by Microsoft before they switched to recommending MeasureUp.
I would put Transcender on the same level as MeasureUp, Self Test and Boson practice tests. I would rank T*stKing on a lower level in terms of quality and integrity.

You're lucky it was enforcer. There are other mods on here that wouldn't be so polite and would tear you a new one.
