I am getting the following error message appeared on a blue screen specially when I logged off or trying to log on to AOL 9 Broadband Program. My O.S is Win 2000 Prof.. This frequent and continual problem is extremely annoying to say the least

*** Stop 0X0000001E (0XC0000005, 0X804E7263,X00000000C, 0X000000002)

KMODE Exception Not Handled

The letters and numbers inside the brackets are different each time this happened.

Any idea or suggestion !! What the solution for this problem is? Please help!!

Thanks

All I can say is that the "Blue Screen of Death" can only mean one thing...BAD NEWS.

I have upgraded my system version of ASPI32.SYS to version 4.71, but the problem still there. I think I need to add more RAM, which is currently 128Mb, to my computer and possibly upgrade the BIOS but I do not how?

OK. maybe the third link CG posted confused the issue. (that seems to be a cdwriter driver problem)

The first link CG posted is the best one to look at. It comes stright from the horses mouth (microsoft). basically what it is saying is, there is a problem with a driver, now seeing as you are having this problem when using the broadband I would suspect it is the driver for your broadband modem/router that is causing the problem. Try removing it and reinstalling again or look for a newer one.

However my preferred option would be to lose AOL and get a different broadband supplier, unfortunately AOL's extra programs tend to cause lots of issues.
